About Sofia Natoli

Sofia Natoli is an actor-performer, photographer and writer based in London, who graduated in August 2025 from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts with a Masters in Acting, after studying Drama & Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths University. She is the co-founder of Kitchen Table, a theatre company creating intimate, provocative and home-made work, along with co-founders Luna Laurenti and Al Hawkins.

Starting taking photographs with her grandmother’s film camera at a young age, she now centers her work around the female body and its representations in performance spaces and in society. Her series ‘Women Performing’ (2024) is her Goldsmiths degree’s final research project, consisting in exploring the female gaze, the theatricality of scenographic material and gender performativity through photoshoots with 50 different female-identifying subjects.

Born in the South of France to an Italian family, she grew up navigating three different cultures and languages, which she mirrors through versatile interdisciplinary performance - acting, writing, singing, dancing. Sofia has recently developed her own work, taking her magical realist play Cracks to the Act II Festival in London (April 2024); and touring her award-nominated multilingual solo show Babel Beast, performed at Voilà Festival (November 2025), Talos Festival (December 2025), on the iconic queer stages of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (January 2026) and the Old Nun’s Head (May 2026), at Kaleidoscope Festival (March 2026), and most recently at Brighton Fringe Festival (May 2026)!
